Who was the founder and first Tirthankara of Jainism?

Jain tradition recognises Rishabhadeva, also called Adinatha, as the first Tirthankara. Neminatha is the twenty-second, Parshvanatha the twenty-third and Mahavira the twenty-fourth Tirthankara.
