Correct Answer: A. Vijayawada
Introduction
The National SARAS Mela gives women-led rural enterprises a market platform. The Vijayawada edition was running from 13 to 31 October.
Explanation
The city was Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. The release specifically called it the first National SARAS Mela outside Delhi-NCR. Direct access to buyers can help small producers understand demand, pricing and packaging expectations. The word National is important here: the claim should not be widened into a statement that no SARAS-related fair had ever taken place elsewhere. Read milestone claims at the exact scope used by the source. Source: https://www.pib.gov.in/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2327976
